Thoughts are actually killing me right at the moment. There are about one million and four running through my head all at the same time. And the horrible Disney Movie Love Songs do NOT help me here. Honestly, it's down to jealousy, wanting, confusion and wondering. And all those thoughts together are not a healthy combonation. in all honesty, I can't stand the thoughts that are going through my brain. Damn it!
Argh, I can't even finish this!

Dreams
'Tis been a while, hasn't it? Well, sorry....Hanna and I have been doing stuff. She is a senior and all. Well, ladies and gents, today's entry is about Dreams. and I'm not just talking about the ones that happen when you're in that first sleep stage, no..I mean like...your hopes...wishes. Is it so....wrong to want something? Something big..and...so out of reach that it's so tempting? Honestly, I am so sick of peoples....comments. Yeah, I want to be on Broadway. Yes, I want to Star in RENT....weather it's a touring cast of not. Yes, I want to record an album...yes, I want this and that. But...I don't make fun of you wanting to be one of the top gossip columist or whatever it is you're going to be. So, do me a favor. STOP! No one cares what you think anymore! My god! Go....crawl in a hole.
Love,
Beth.

Beth.

This is a rant.
Not a blog, but a rant.
Rich kids piss me off.
Not all of them, mind you, only the ones that think they're better than everyone merely because they have money.
Perfect example:
One kid, who drives an expensive car and has an uber-rich stepdad, almost ran me over in the parking lot one morning. I mention it to him, and ask him to watch where he's driving.
The next morning, I pull into the parking to find his car planted firmly in my (paid for) parking spot.
Now, I know that, yes, the ground was covered in snow, and no, you couldn't see the lines.
But his usual parking spot is four spaces down from mine. Four.
Mine is right in front of a giant light post. It's easy to find.
I confronted him about it and asked him not to park in my spot.
Then I reported him to the administration.
He should have gotten a $25 parking ticket. Chances of that are slim to none.
Now, I want to drive my car into the back of his precious Cadillac.
But I won't, because it would "total" my car.
And it would be my fault.
Stupid rich kids.
You're just the same as everyone else. Get over yourselves.

Ladies and Gentlemen.....
I honestly don't like Miley Cryus. Not to suddenly talk about celebrities, but I really do not like her. My friend and I were having this conversation in French class today. I can't wait until the day I see her as the next Britney Spears, because I honestly think that's her "meant-to-be" role. I mean, first she's hanging out with the Jonas Brothers, who....for those of you who honestly want to know, I am a fan of, and steals their purity ring idea, but then she breaks Nick's heart [the youngest one] and goes off to fornicate with some 20 year old "Christian" model. Yes, and I am the Queen of France. HA!
Honestly, I think she needs to grow up. I was watching the Kids Inaugural on Disney Channel a couple nights ago and she started the night in a great red dress with straps and a nice up do, then she went backstage, ripped down her hair and showed her roots by wearing a shirt that states: "Times, they are a-changin'" I mean, really? And then she had to go and sing her most annoying single "Fly on the Wall" and dance around like the little slut that she is with the First Lady and First Daughters watching from afar. I mean, that was the killer for me, right there.
I love her song "7 Things" but I hate her! And another thing, little miss Miley/Hannah/Whoever the fuck you really are, don't you know that the way to solve multiple personality disorder doesn't involve putting on a blond wig and shouting "Daddy say what?" or "Sweet niblets" all the time? I doubt someone ever told you this, but...most teen stars have their fallout...yours is just around the corner!
Much Love,
Beth

I have two things to say
Number One: Mr. Bush, thank you for eight years of service.
Number Two: President Obama, congratulations and the best of luck to you in pulling us out of the mess we've made.
Thank you, and good night.
Hanna

You probably won't like me.....
But see if I really care. I am so tired of all this bullshit that some of you are playing. Really? You're pissed because we made history today? You're pissed because a "Black" man is president? And there is only one reason why I said black in quotations...it's because he's BIRACIAL!!!! OH!! Big problem! NOT! My God, people, can you not just get over the fact that the nation made a decision and that we're just going to have to deal with it? We have four years and then we can vote again for a fucked up white man who will just lead this country into a depression....oh wait, three of them already did that. You have no idea, we need this. As a country whose children are calling the President of the United States a "Nigger" we need this change. So, I'm going to tell you straight up. I like President Obama. Yes, there are somethings that I don't like about him, but I like him...and you know what, I couldn't vote in this election anyway...but, that doesn't matter! Honestly people.....we're supposed to be getting along here, instead, some of you are planning Civil War part Two......I just want you all to understand that, sometimes....your opinions need to stay in your little head.
I'm done here.
Beth.
I'm done here.

Words
Have you ever thought about what you say, and I mean REALLY thought about it? Maybe that one time when you wanted to ask this guy/girl out and you wanted it to come out exactly right. Or maybe when you had to give a presentation in class and you didn't want to look like an idiot.
But on an everyday basis, how often do you think before you say something? Every time? Once or twice? Never? Personally, I'm in the once or twice category, but that's not the point....
The words we use, especially using "fucking" as an adjective. Really, if you don't have any more words to describe something, spend ten dollars at WalMart on a thesaurus. There are so many other words you could be using; there are more than 500,000 in the English language! I know that occasionally there's really nothing else to say, but in my opinion, using this as an adjective on a daily/hourly basis shows a lack of intelligence.
My other pet peeve: when people use "gay" to describe something. Really? Think about it like this: what if you replaced every time you said "gay" with "straight"? "Dude, Mr. Smith's test was so straight! I think I failed!" "I can't believe they canceled the game, that's so straight!"
Sounds dumb, right?
That's what I thought. Like I said before, there are 500,000+ words in the English language, use another one of them!
Words can hurt. Think about all of those kids who have been teased and called names, then gone a shot up/ bombed their schools. Yes, a lot of them had underlying mental illness, but the breaking point? Words.
I want to challenge you to think about what you say, tomorrow, next week, next year, even. I'm not perfect, and I'm not trying to be a hypocrite, but I try. I hope you'll try with me.
Hanna

here's what I think....
Racism.....discrimination.......
My mother was barley alive during the time the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA [reason for all caps later] was going through the worst state of racism since the Civil War. Sadly, that barley changed her generation and now it's horribly affecting ours. Have you ever realized what kids our age are saying now-a-days? I never thought I would ever hear "Stupid fuckin' nigger..." come out of the mouth of a child my age, but I did and man...it hurt me to write that. Call me a hippie child, if that's really what you wantm but I'm still confused on the topic of racism and the point behind it....people were still people, last time I checked....
Another saying that really makes my blood boil is "Stupid fuckin' homo!" Oh, that eally blows my head off. Don't get my wrong, I go to church and I believe in God, but I can not and I will never EVER believe that "homosexuality" is "wrong". I. Believe. In. FREE. Love! You have no idea how annoyed I am with people who think that their [meaning gays, bisexuals and lesbians] are wrong. Have you ever thought that maybe it was YOU who are wrong?
Here's my challenge for the week: Think before you judge, speak.....anything! Think about someone other than yourself for a minuet and look at the amazing world around you. I promse, it's not that hard...really.
Oh, and the CAPS when I said USA was because, last time I checked...the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA meant FREEDOM. Maybe you should look into that as well.
Peace, Love and Wise Judgement....

Believe what you want to....[Beth]
There are so many different belief systems out in this world, I don't even want to THINK about counting them all. Sitting in English, we discussed Trancendentalist writers like Emerson and Thoreau. And their beliefs bring up some interesting points to ponder. I'm not going to like. "To be Great is to be Misunderstood." is one of the best quotes that I've heard in a long time...however...
Here is a challenge for you today, I want you guys to understand that I'm not here to conform you to anything. I have my beliefs and you have yours, but I want you to understand yourself and make your own decisions. Yes, I understand that your parents have some say in what you do but...last time I checked, you were your own person. And sometimes....even they don't know what's good for you.
I don't think that you should fall to any religion or belief unless YOU want to. Honestly as, not only a citizen of these United States, but as a person...you have the right to make these kinds of things. I have a great friend who isn't any religion...and I don't know if he even wants to be, he's just happy where he is and that's fine.
I may be titled a "Christian" but I don't always agree with what they preach. Because, humanistically...it's not right to me. But, that blog is coming later. Alright kiddies, I have to finish some work and then get my English homework done!
Peace, Love and Your own Decisions...

A two-sided blog? Here you go...
Okay, I was told that my blogs were a little one-sided. Sorry, I'm just rather opinionated.
This is the other side to my homosexuality blog...
I understand that most of those who make fun of homosexuals are either 1.) afraid of them or 2.) disagree with their lifestyle. I have been raised in church all my life, so I know exactly where in Deuteronomy it say "one must not lie with a man as one does with a woman". I know that you feel it is wrong to be with someone of the same sex, but can't you let them live their lives? They could choose to ignore the feelings they have, sure. But they instead chose to act upon those feelings.
We are the choices we make. They simply made a different choice than you did.
And those of you who are gay, don't make it such a big deal. Yeah, you can be proud of who you are and not let people push you down, but you don't have to rub their faces in it. A lot of times quiet resistance (think Ghandi) is more powerful than anger and violence. Yes, you have just as much of a right to be who you are as they do. However, you don't have to be outrageously loud about it.
I hope this was a little more two-sided. I'm really not sure how to make it more.
Hanna

One word...one problem....
Sex.
Have you ever really thought about it? And, I'm not talking about actually COMMITING the act just...the process...the emotions...To me, it seems like one of the vital organs that's keeping all genera's of the media alive is sex. You see it everywhere, even in little kids shows their kissing. I'm sorry, but it's time for the line to be re-drawn.
A couple nights ago, my mother and I were enjoying the Season permier of the "Secert Life of the American Teenager" when a thought came into my head. Not all of just are like that. Not all of us just randomly decide to hook up with the Cymbol Boy at band camp and make a baby. Hell, most of us aren't even in band...and for those of us that are...we don't all do that either.
And then, I open my eyes, and take a really, really, REALLY good look around. And that's what I'm challenging you to do. I want you to push aside the media: music, t.v, computers, all that jazz, and look at your school....your friends....or worse....you FAMILY....and see how much lust and sexual pleasures really do comsume this world. It's disturbing, actually.
And for those of you that are wondering, yes....
I still [PROUDLY] carry my V card.
Peace, Love and Wise Decisions....

Okay, I lied...
I'm not gonna talk about sleeping around. I'm gonna talk about homosexuality.
Why do we say something is "gay" when it's just dumb or pointless? Try replacing that version of gay with "straight"... 'Dude, that test was so straight. I think I failed!' Sounds idiotic, right?
And another thing: just because someone is gay gives you no right to make fun of them. Yeah they're different, but what if YOU were the one that was different? What if everyone started making fun of you for being straight? How would you feel about it then?
And people who identify as bisexual...in no way, shape, or form does it mean they will sleep with anything human. It merely mean that they have no preference for one gender over the other.
Personally, this is me. I like guys and girls. I've been with both. You have no reason to make fun of us. We are just like you, we merely prefer another lifestyle.
And another note: The way one acts and looks is not necessarily the way one is.

America....My Way....[Beth]
What, may I ask.....
Does America have to offer us these days? The backlash of a falling economy? The horrible discrimination we see in schools all over the world? Again I ask, what does "she" have to offer us. And that's another thing...Calling America a "she" makes me wonder if the "Founding Fathers" were sexually deprived or planned on making everything that goes wrong, no matter how big or small, a woman's fault?
Have you ever thought about how much the female sex means to this country? Not only do we have extremely powerful political women like Hilary Clinton and SarahPalin, but we have many women serving side by side with the men in Iraq. Think about this guys, we're the ones who made the homes and took care of the children. And what were you doing? Sitting on your ass, drinking beer trying to figure out how to kill your fellow American during the Civil War. Really? Don't get me wrong, you played an EXTREMELY important part in this Nations history....
But so have we. American women, even those in high power, are paid .75 cents less on average that the American man in the same position...or even a lower one. I don't understand why we're frowned upon. So, ladies....here's my challenge for you....STAND UP! Let your voice be heard....
And men...
Sit your LAZY ass down, Shut UP and LISTEN!!!
Peace, Love and Empowerment...
Beth.

Hanna #1
Hi, I'm hanna. My best friend and I were talking the other day and she said something about starting a blog, and I asked if I could be in on it. We'll both be posting on here, occasionally in contradiction, but we each have a right to our own opinions, no?
I'm a senior in high school, and I'm SO glad this is my last semester at this terrible place. I love music, especially singing. I'm not afraid to voice my opinion (most of the time) despite what other people think.
Other than that, there's really not that much more to know about me.
My first topic? Freshmen.
Get over yourselves. You really aren't as important as you think you are. Yes, you have a place in the school, but let me tell you, it's a really low place. You may think I'm treating you as lesser beings. In fact, I was accused of exactly that a few weeks ago. However, you act like it. I lost all respect for the majority of your class within three weeks of school starting. The few that I still have respect for are those that I know personally. Sorry, but as a group, you have no respect for upperclassmen, especially seniors, and you don't seem to understand that this is NOT middle school anymore. You stand in the middle of the hallway, cut us in the lunch line, and act like all-around imbeciles!
If you want respect, act like the adults you should be. Stop blocking everyone else's way so you can stand around in groups and gossip. Do it in a lobby, or in one of the side hallways, not in the main thoroughfares. Seniors, this applies to you, too. Find a corner, and don't block the hallways. Not everyone wants to be stuck behind you while you tell Ashley who Katie slept with last weekend. Act like those of us who have been here a while know what we're talking about. Treat everyone, including each other, with respect. Actions are louder than words, guys. I know it sounds corny, but it's totally true.
And speaking of sleeping around, that'll be tomorrow's topic. Adios til then, and be smart: don't act like an middle schooler.

My Name....is Beth.
And I can promise you, a lot of what I am going to say, you may not like. As you can tell, my friend Hanna and I are doing this together. Don't ask where we come from or who we are or whatever, cause I can promise you...we're not going to tell you. I do, however, want to tell you that this started off as my idea. I then presented this idea to her and she tagged along. So, now onto why I am here. I was inspired by a fellow teenager, who is now a young man, who stated his opinion for the world to hear, he just didn't want to know he was doing it. That's what I am going to do. I want you to know that, as a girl, some of my opinions may be biased...but, that's just life and that's how it goes. So suck it up and continue reading.
Now, onto my first topic. Like previously stated, I am a girl, so I'm sure most of you are going to think that this is biased, but that's what happens when you start reading some mindless teenage blog. My first topic tonight is Boys. I am currently in some hard situations with three guys who don't understand the "meaningful" part of the sentence "meaningful relationships." For the first time in my life, I have gotten asked to have sex with three guys that I'm not even in any sort of romantic relationship with. One if them, I have been having, what some might call, "friends with benefits" sort of relationship, but I have yet to actually see the benefits. The other is an immature little brat who needs to get his head out of the gutter and understand that not all women are interested in how much money you make or how big your penis is. And then there is guy number three...
Let me tell you a little about guy number three...he's a bit confusing. He is eighteen years old and a senior at a local school. [Okay, well we're in the same county, how about that?] He and I are about sixteen months apart in age and he calls me a "young'n." I have no idea why, but he does. And all of a sudden, he wants to know everything about me, but nothing in return...I don't understand him. Guys, if you are kind of like the guy I am talking about, my challenge for you in this week's post is to not be so damn confusing. Not all girls like chasing around some chicken with his head cut off like you are. And girls, if you're dealing with this...I challenge you this...and I know it's hard, because I am currently texting this guy as I type this...get rid of him and do it fast....
Before you get attached...
And now kiddies, I must go. I have school tomorrow.
Peace, Love, and Wise Decisions...
Beth.
